5:1
|
所以我們既本著信得稱為義，就藉著我們的主耶穌基督得與上帝相和﹔
|
|
|
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
|
|
5:2
|
藉著他，我們已進于所站立的這恩典中，就因可得上帝之榮耀的那種盼望而歡喜夸勝。
|
|
|
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
|
|
5:3
|
不但如此，我們竟拿苦難而歡喜夸勝呢，因為知道苦難能生出堅忍，
|
|
|
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
|
|
5:4
|
堅忍能生出老練，老練能生出盼望﹔
|
|
|
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
|
|
5:5
|
盼望是令人不失望的﹔因為上帝的愛、藉著所賜給我們、的聖靈、傾注于我們心里。
|
|
|
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
|
|
5:6
|
假使盼望是空的，為什么當我們還在軟弱無力時、基督就在適當的時機替不虔的人死呢？
|
|
|
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
|
|
5:7
|
人替義人死、是僅僅有的﹔替善人死、或者竟有敢作的﹔
|
|
|
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
|
|
5:8
|
惟獨上帝卻將他自己的愛向我們証明出來﹔因為當我們還作罪人時基督就替我們死。
|
|
|
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
|
|
5:9
|
所以我們如今既因著基督的血得稱為義，豈不更要藉著他而得救、脫離上帝之義怒么？
|
|
|
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
|
|
5:10
|
我們做仇敵時、既藉著上帝兒子的死得與上帝復和，豈不更要在復和之后、因著基督的活以得救么？
|
|
|
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
|
|
5:11
|
不但如此，我們竟能藉著我們的主耶穌拿上帝而歡喜夸勝呢﹔因為藉著他、我們如今領受了復和了。
|
|
|
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
|
|
5:12
|
故此、罪怎樣藉著一個人而入了世界，死又藉著罪而入了世界，死也怎樣因萬人都犯了罪而傳遍到萬人。
|
|
|
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
|
|
5:13
|
沒有律法之先、罪已經在世界上了﹔不過沒有律法、罪是不算為罪的。
|
|
|
(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
|
|
5:14
|
然而從亞當到摩西、連那些不按亞當犯法的樣子去犯罪過的人，死也掌了王權去管轄他們。亞當原是后來要到的那位之豫像。
|
|
|
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
|
|
5:15
|
但上帝的恩賜是遠超乎人之過犯的﹔萬眾既因那一人的過犯而死，那么上帝之恩典、以及在耶穌基督一人恩典中白白之恩、豈不越發加給萬眾么？
|
|
|
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
|
|
5:16
|
上帝的恩賞又是遠超乎一人犯罪之結果的︰因為罪案是起于一次的過犯、而有定罪之事﹔但恩賜呢、雖起于許多次過犯，卻仍有斷為無罪之舉。
|
|
|
And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
|
|
5:17
|
死既因那一人的過犯、藉那一人而掌王權，那么那些領受滿溢之恩典和稱義白白之恩的人、豈不更要藉著耶穌基督一人而在生命中掌王權么？
|
|
|
For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
|
|
5:18
|
這么說來，因一人的過犯、萬人怎樣都受定罪﹔照樣，因一人所行的義、萬人也怎樣都被斷為無罪而得生命。
|
|
|
Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
|
|
5:19
|
因那一人之不聽從、萬眾也怎樣被認為罪人﹔照樣，因這一人之聽從、萬眾也怎樣都被認為義人。
|
|
|
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
|
|
5:20
|
律法溜了進來，使過犯增多﹔但罪在哪里增多，恩典也就在哪里格外地滿溢﹔
|
|
|
Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
|
|
5:21
|
以玫罪在死中怎樣掌了王權，恩典也可以藉著救人之義怎樣掌王權，使人藉著我們的主耶穌基督得永生。
|
|
|
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
|
