13:1
|
從前以法蓮一說話，人都戰戰兢兢﹔他在以色列中居高位﹔但因服事巴力（即︰外國人的神）而有罪，他就死了。
|
|
|
When Ephraim spake trembling, he exalted himself in Israel; but when he offended in Baal, he died.
|
|
13:2
|
如今呢、他們罪越犯越多了，他們為自己造了鑄像，按自己的技巧聰明，用他們的銀子造偶象，都是匠人的作品﹔就說︰向這些偶象獻祭吧！嘿，人（經點竄翻譯的）跟對牛犢親咀！
|
|
|
And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, and idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.
|

13:3
|
因此他們必像早晨的云霧，又如早散的朝露，好像糠秕從禾場上旋轉起，又像煙氣騰于格子窗外。
|
|
|
Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud, and as the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney.
|

13:4
|
我永恆主你的上帝、領你從埃及地上來的﹔除了我以外、你沒有同別的神知交，我以外并沒有拯救者。
|
|
|
Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
|
|
13:5
|
在曠野是我同你知交，在亢旱之地是我牧養（七十子及敘利亞譯本作此讀法以譯『認識』一詞）了你。
|
|
|
I did know thee in the wilderness, in the land of great drought.
|
|
13:6
|
在這些人民既得吃了（傳統︰按照他們的草場），就吃得飽飫﹔既得飽飫了，就心高氣傲，因而忘記了我。
|
|
|
According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.
|
|
13:7
|
故此我對他們必像猛獅，像豹子在道旁窺探著。
|
|
|
Therefore I will be unto them as a lion: as a leopard by the way will I observe them:
|
|
13:8
|
我必像丟崽子的母熊猛扑他們，撕裂他們的心囊，在那里像母獅吞吃他們﹔野獸必撕開他們。
|
|
|
I will meet them as a bear that is bereaved of her whelps, and will rend the caul of their heart, and there will I devour them like a lion: the wild beast shall tear them.
|
|
13:9
|
以色列阿，我要毀滅你（傳統︰你的毀滅。今仿敘利亞譯本改點母音譯之）﹔誰（傳統︰因為在我）能幫助你呢？
|
|
|
O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help.
|
|
13:10
|
論到王和首領你曾說︰「將王和首領賜給我吧！」那么你的王在哪里（傳統︰我要做），好拯救你呢？你的首領都（傳統︰在你所有的城市里）在哪里，好保衛你呢（傳統︰你的官吏）？
|
|
|
I will be thy king: where is any other that may save thee in all thy cities? and thy judges of whom thou saidst, Give me a king and princes?
|
|
13:11
|
我氣忿忿地將王賜了你，又怒烘烘地給廢去。
|
|
|
I gave thee a king in mine anger, and took him away in my wrath.
|
|
13:12
|
以法蓮的罪孽是包封著的，他的罪是收藏著的。
|
|
|
The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; his sin is hid.
|
|
13:13
|
生產的疼痛必臨到他身上，但他是個毫無智慧之子﹔到了產期他還是遲延于子宮口。
|
|
|
The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he is an unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children.
|
|
13:14
|
我必贖救他們脫離陰間的權勢﹔我必贖回他們脫離死亡。死亡阿，你的災害在哪里（傳統︰我要做）？陰間哪，你的毀滅在哪里（傳統︰我要做）？我看不到須改變心意呀。
|
|
|
I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.

13:15
|
盡管他像菖蒲（傳統︰在弟兄之間）那么茂盛，也必有熱東風刮來，必有永恆主的風從曠野刮上來﹔他的泉源必乾﹔他的水泉就乾涸，他的泉源就旱竭了﹔風必掠奪他所貯藏的一切寶器。

|
Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels.
|
|
13:16
|
撒瑪利亞必擔當他自己的罪罰，因為他悖逆了他的上帝﹔他們必倒斃于刀下，他們的嬰孩必被摔死，他們的孕婦必被剖開。
|
|
|
Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.
