14:1
|
（希伯來經卷作何14︰1）以色列阿，你要回歸永恆主你的上帝，因為你是因你自己的罪孽而傾覆的。
|
|
|
O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
|
|
14:2
|
（希伯來經卷作何14︰2）要帶著懺悔的話來回歸永恆主！對他說︰「赦除一切罪孽哦！悅納善行哦！」那我們就獻上我們咀唇之果實（傳統︰牛犢）了。
|
|
|
Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
|
|
14:3
|
亞述不能拯救我們，駿馬我們必不再騎上﹔我們的手所造的我們必不再稱為『我們的上帝』，因為只有在你里面孤兒得以找到憐憫。
|
|
|
Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.
|
|
14:4
|
我必醫治他們的背道﹔我必甘心樂意地愛他們，因為我的怒氣已向他們轉消。
|
|
|
I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.
|
|
14:5
|
我對以色列必如甘露﹔他必開花像百合，扎根像楊樹（傳統︰利巴嫩）。
|
|
|
I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
|
|
14:6
|
他的幼枝必伸展出﹔他的榮美必像橄欖樹，而他的香氣像利巴嫩。
|
|
|
His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.
|
|
14:7
|
他們必再住我的（傳統︰他的）蔭影下，使五谷生長﹔他們必發旺像葡萄樹，他的名聲必像利巴嫩的酒。
|
|
|
They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
|
|
14:8
|
以法蓮哪，我和偶象還有什么關系呢？是我應了他，也是我監視他。以法蓮唱︰「我如同青翠的松樹。」永恆主和︰「你的果子是從我而來的。」
|
|
|
Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
|
|
14:9
|
誰是智慧人，讓他明白這些事吧！誰是明達人，讓他領會吧！因為永恆主的道路是正直的，義人行走于其中，違犯者卻跌倒于其上。
|
|
|
Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
